I did this with another toon on a different server before WoD came out and was able to get the schematic. Edit - After further inspection, there appears to be some of them that are green and others that are red, and able to be attacked and looted.

Keep an eye open for the news! Only the 2 northern most spawn points actually spawn NPCs that are unfriendly and you therefore can attack, atleast for horde.
Thought it might be worthy of a mention Other than that thank you so much for the guide it has helped me alot! If you go up from the flight point platform, it's a little south. For the Gan'arg Analyzer , I didn't find any that were friendly. I did, however, have problems finding any at all - I think other people were also killing them. I made two full rounds, flying between all four, before I found any at all. I didn't keep track of how many I killed, but I made 6.
In the process of standing there looking at this page and at my alt-tracker, seeing who had what mats and where I'd have to go, I idly killed 5 more Library Guardians, and the Jeeves schematic dropped. Last edited by abhorsenjay; at PM.

After "skinning" five or six Library Guardian it dropped. So, like someone stated earlier, you do not need skills of engineering for this schematic to drop. Don't know if I was lucky on the drop chance, but my brother also didn't farmed it longer then 5 or 10 minutes.
Just make sure you actually "skin" the mobs, i know someone who actually thought it just dropped without skinning them and spend a couple of hours killing the mobs without "skinning" them. Months ago, my DK was my main, and a engi. Recently I reitred him and chaged his professions to better suit my guild. After getting 2 more toons to level 80, I decided to pull my DK out or retirement and after careful consideration, I decided to, yet again, level engineering. After grinding the Library Guardians for 3 days straight, I began to wonder if Bilzzard, in their infinite wisdom, restricted the drop for the Schematic: Jeeves to only once per character.
The good news is this: after 3 hours on the 4th day of farming, it finally dropped for me again. If you are a mount collecter, please make sure you leave the engi only mounts for last, as engi is probably the most expensive to level, and not very profitable when only selling the items you make while leveling it.

But I can confirm that they do drop from them still. Drop chance is just very random! Being that this is where the schematic comes from, how do we get it now? I went to try to farm it the other day and noticed this. Any thoughts? It was worth it though. He is pretty darn cool! Oh Yea, It still costs a pretty penny ergo gold in mats putting him together but an engineer in my realm was nice enough to fabricate for free the items necessary when I provided the mats.

After 5 minutes of killing, Time Lost Proto-Drake flew by, my guildie killed it, and I got the mount. Then 40 minutes of grind later, I got my Jeeves finally.

I just did all the quests for the mechagnomes and bots around Fizzcrank Airstrip, and when I had to use a bot I killed for a quest which would destroy the corpse there are several , I would 'salvage' the corpse first, just to make sure it had nothing good.

If you can't can't find a way to solo Flame Leviathan in Uldar and farming the Library Guardians is killing your patience, go for the mechanical constructs in a normal Halls of Stone or normal Halls of Lightning. Upon reaching gnome and deciding to go after the 'goodies' of the profession, I decided to farm Jeeves. With the new ish 'abandoned' mole machines , getting to this recipe is cake. For RBA. Carry on to the West Garrison, go next to Golem Lord Whatzhisnutz , and loot the plans copy which are on the floor next to him. Its always there. I suspect that Blizz has upped the drop rate on this schematic.
I'm never this lucky grinding plans. My last grind was for those blasted sp wrist enchants in BC that took kills and 3 days off the BEM wind-traders Argh. I farmed the librarians near Ulduar. It IS important to use your engineering 'skinning' ability on these after you loot them - this is the primary reason that drop reporting to wowhead is so thin, due to lack of engineering skinning as a practice, and the lack of people who use wowhead, who are also engineers, to update the dbase - so dont be discouraged by the low apparent drop rates.
Mine dropped on the 3rd mob. So if like me, you were intimidated by previous posts, I think the grind has become somewhat tamer now - don't hesitate to go for it. Note: Yes the Scrapbots are a more efficient way to make albeit exhaustible repair bots with reagents on them. But only Jeeves gives you access to your personal bank exception being the Argent Squire on a much longer CD. Given my result and a slew of recent commenters saying that they got the recipe quickly I'm guessing the drop rate's been increased, though I have no proof of this. Comment by factura 15 mins of farming the library guardians and it dropped.
As noted above, remember to "mine" them. Seems like a great place if not the best place to farm this schematic. Lots of mobs, easy to kill. Comment by behunter I actually got really lucky with getting mine. I was in the area where it drops I wasn't even thinking about Jeeves at the time, I didn't even know the schematic dropped there. I discovered that the NPCs can be engineered and that sometimes they dropped cobalt bolts or volatile blasting triggers, both of which I needed plenty of.
Anyone I'm going around farming those mats not really paying attention to what I was getting all the time when all of a sudden I see a message come up saying Looting Schematic: Jeeves will bind the item to you. And Jeeves is easily one the best things that engineers can make.

With my pala i got it while questing in Borean Tundra of those robots. With my rogue i just started farming : I'm testing if having the other schematics has any effect on the droprate. Then headed to farm pattern for Jeeves, again got it in around kills. That was the easy part I spent the rest of the day getting other patterns needed. I farmed almost everything I needed except the Khorium bars that are needed for the power bar.
I still spent around 2k total I believe. Super cool to have, but very time consuming and expensive to make. I feel it was worth it, but this will be my only engineer I have 3 that will every get it! Good Luck and Happy Hunting!

Im skill lvl engieneer and yes i did loot and then salavged all the mobs with out any luck. Is this really that hard to get a hold on?

I do not have any other repair bot recipe or any pre-Quest. Just landed there and killed some easy mobs :. My hunter in 3 kills. My DK first kill today. Helped a friend get it in 5 kills. Maybe it's just lucky RNG, but I believe these guys are the best ones to farm this from. Accepted it, but didn't complete it yet. Third librarian salvaged dropped the Jeeves schematic. Comment by Recommendation if farming at the Inventor's Library: Farm on the very top level versus the lower level. On the lower, when you "mine" the library guardians, it is all grey junk On the upper level, when you "mine", it is some grey junk along with some useful engineering parts.
I spent about 20 min on the lower level and got nothing but grey items, thought I would move up to the top level closer to the entrance and the Jeeves schematic dropped in about 6 minutes after farming on the upper level.
In those 6 minutes I also collected 4 bolts, 10 volatile triggers, one overcharged capacitor and some tubing I have level engineering, Level 79 warlock. So today I figured I would get it all done at once. I was psyched, so I went and got the schematic from Blackrock Depths took about 5 minutes on a level The next up was the repair bot from Blade's Edge Mountain, again this dropped in about 5 kills.
Another hour of farming Titanium for the titansteel being the hardest and the delicate copper wire being ahrd as well since it requires a jeweller and it was done. So dinged 80, looted the guardian, salvaged it, and BAM, there he was ;- I dont know whats right or wrong here, i can see alot of others have had Jeeves drop before level 80, but coincidence that he drops on the first guardian i salvage after i reach level 80, and not from guardians before level 80? I dont know.. Maybe the droprate raises dramatically at ?

Seriously tho there is no magic way of getting this it's all down to randomness. It did not take nearly as long as I had thought. I should have timed it, but I got the drop after about 30 - 45 minutes of farming. I found that the Library Guardian s are spaced far enough away that it is difficult to gather up more than about But, their respawn is pretty quick. So, it was not bad at all. I am very happy that I did it. Just remember that it is BoP.

Clearly the drop rates for this schematic was nerfed; either that, or there is some other prerequisite to finding this recipe. I noticed someone suggested the completion of a specific quest, but that seems unlikely. Either way, the drop rates are certainly not what they've been bragged up to be.
